He has a strong background in P&L management as well as developing business plans and financial models to project future growth to assist companies in obtaining debt and equity financing. He led the capital and fundraising raising activities for a VC backed start-up Technology Company and successfully closed on Series A equity round led the M&A process to find a strategic buyer which resulted in a successful exit. Other areas of expertise include: Cash flow management, board presentations and corporate governance, M&A and exit planning..

Jillian is a senior business strategy and marketing executive with 16+ years of experience with Fortune 500 and early stage private companies. She has deep experience in product management, business process reengineering and developing practical strategies to drive growth for B2C and B2B companies. Jillian led globally distributed teams that managed product development and marketing programs across the US and in 20+ countries. Jillian has helped businesses innovate, scale, monetize and capitalize and has experience at all stages of the sales funnel. She has a proven track record of working with CEOs and business owners to drive both strategy and execution around issues such as product/market fit, product management and optimizing the marketing mix through data. Jillian is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Product Manager, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Innovation Leader. She has experience working with Salesforce.com, Marketo, HubSpot and Tableau.

Paul has a unique background having been on both sides of the desk as a senior manager and consultant as well as an academician. With over 30 years of experience as a consultant, Paul currently serves as a Professor of the Practice of Applied Psychology at Fairfield University preparing masters students in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program. He established and ran his own consulting firm, Paul Maloney & Associates, for 20 years working with clients around the globe. Previously he held senior HR positions with NBC, Mobil, and PepsiCo International. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Organization Development Network.

James is a strategic IT executive with a solid history of designing and integrating leading edge technology to drive innovations across diverse industries. A true change leader and transformation expert, he has consistently proven his ability to strategize and deliver right-sized solutions to a full range of business and IT problems. Known as the “go to guy” to drive turnaround and execution of failing projects. Trusted leader known for sound business judgment and out-of-the-box innovation. Valerie is a strategic marketer with proven success growing start-ups and established businesses by creating and implementing multi-channel marketing solutions that build brands, customer relationships and sales in the B2B and B2C space. She has a passion for growing share and ROI by extracting insights from analytics, building teams and leading innovation across Marketing, Sales and Customer Service. Her marketing, product management, and new product development skills were fine-tuned in Product Manager roles at GE, Colgate-Palmolive and AT&T. Valerie has successfully guided CEOs of start-ups, middle-market and F500 companies to efficient share growth, customer acquisition and relationship management by delivering relevant content and value to targets through best fit online, direct and traditional offline channels. She excels at disciplined project and vendor management, “hands-on” execution and rigorous financial control.

Linda has worked for companies as well as served as a consultant and educator. She specializes in the development of strategic social responsibility and employee engagement programs. Prior to establishing her own firm in 1993, Linda worked in the corporate world for 14 years developing and managing strategic contributions programs for Citibank and Pfizer.

Steven is forward thinking CPA with comprehensive and diversified experience within a broad range of industries including logistics, manufacturing and distribution businesses. He is a hands-on self-starter, who has worn many "hats" and has built and led high performing financial teams for public and private companies that have experienced rapid growth. Steven is a creative, strategic and analytic thinker with direct involvement in many aspects of operational and financial management. He works collaboratively with others to achieve goals, simplify processes and reduce costs to ensure that work is completely accurately and in a timely fashion. Steven is a strong leader and motivator, who embraces innovation, and proactively responds to rapid growth and organizational changes. Throughout his professional career, he has been involved in all aspects of controllership from financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, strategic planning, and financial systems implementation to acquisition due diligence, operational risk and compliance management. Steven is a key financial player in implementing ERP systems, enhancing company reporting, advising on system structure and protocols, cleansing and transferring data. Bryan is a senior strategy professional with more than 15 years of experience helping C-suite executives solve key financial, marketing and operational issues. He has a strong background in developing actionable business growth, market entry, product development and human capital and compensation strategies for middle market companies and early-growth firms across a variety of industries. Additionally, Bryan has worked closely with growth-stage organizations to develop business growth and financial plans in support of equity and debt fund raising activities. Bob is a CPA and a CGMA who has over 30 years of finance and accounting experience in CFO, Controller, and VP of Finance positions in small to midsize companies primarily in manufacturing and distribution sectors, many demanding the management skills of a successful turnaround specialist. He has been a prominent member of executive management teams and has managed teams of up to 23 direct employees. For the past 12 years he has been providing finance and accounting consulting services to public and privately held companies in need of immediate results regarding issues of financial reporting, non-compliance with SEC regulations, year-end audits by Big Four audit firms, Sarbanes-Oxley testing, internal control deficiencies, acquisition due diligence audits, and accounting system conversions, as well as filling temporarily vacated finance or accounting positions. Bob has worked in a variety of industries including aerospace manufacturers, transportation, telecommunications, environmental consulting and engineering, aircraft leasing, financial services, and real estate investment funds.

Peter is a highly experienced non-profit Chief Executive Officer with more than 30 years of experience with large and medium sized philanthropic and educational organizations. He has a strong background in turning around non-profit organizations that were experiencing financial, fundraising, and governance difficulties. Adept in developing non-profit business plans and financial models to project future growth of organizations primarily financed through charitable dollars. Areas of expertise include: management, fundraising, non-profit governance, grant writing and procurement from foundation and governmental sources, program development, governmental relations, and personnel management.

Jim is a CPA and a senior financial and operating executive with over 25 years' experience at major philanthropic (501(c)c3) organizations working domestically and internationally with annual revenues of $50 to $100 million. He has been responsible for the investments of large endowments as well as income distributions for over 1,700 individual endowments; Jim has a deep understanding of accounting policies and internal controls, employee benefits including 403b plans, fund raising and planned giving programs (i.e. charitable gift annuities, donor relations and special gifts); Form 990 filings, legal agreements and banking relationships. Jim also has a strong background working with privately held middle market companies.

Positions that Bob have served in include Controller, Director of Development, CFO, COO, and CEO. He has orchestrated a number of financial and operational turnarounds, from strategic design to tactical implementation, for both privately held companies and non-profits. Lala has more than 30+ years of expertise in Business Development for both US and International companies. She has worked with early stage start-ups, small to medium size companies and Fortune 500 companies in the high-tech industry as well as technology related areas, ranging from energy efficiency, agro-technology and water conservation sectors. She helps companies expand on both a domestic and international basis while supervising all facets of project management. She works mainly in the B2B and PPP (Public Private Partnership) spaces helping companies access millions of dollars in public funding at the local and state level. Lala has worked with and led project teams in finance, engineering and business development, with companies such as Applied Materials, HP, Creo/Kodak Company, KLA - Tencor, Danaher Corporation and Dominion Resources, where understanding the cultural diversity of clients has enabled her to bridge the cognitive differences between engineering and suppliers bringing projects to a successful conclusion. She has lived in Europe, Israel, and the United States and is fluent in English, French, Hebrew, Dutch, and is conversational in German and other languages. As such, she is sensitive to the negotiation and business styles of different countries and cultures, a valuable advantage given the international focus of many of her clients.

Alysia is a senior marketing and strategy executive with more than 25 years of expertise from client, agency and entrepreneurial perspectives to diagnose business challenges, identify marketing solutions and optimize growth strategies. Marcus has a great deal of experience developing custom applications as well as selecting and implementing off-the-shelf enterprise solutions to support business operations. Marcus has assisted organizations with implementing Lean and Agile techniques for both business operations and software development departments. Marcus is a certified Agile scrummaster and is very active in the startup community in Charlottesville, VA. He often assists organizations restructure their IT operations to better support the company’s growth, typically around the $10-$50 million mark where IT infrastructure is no longer effectively supporting operations. Marcus has founded several Software-as-a-Service companies and has experience managing local as well as off-shore development and support resources. He has experience with many software development languages/frameworks and cloud architectures. Marcus has been responsible for developing HIPAA and PCI compliant platforms as well as acquiring UL/CE certifications for products.

Derek is a senior strategy and marketing professional with more than 20 years’ experience developing and implementing winning marketing strategies for early stage to middle market companies across diverse industries. He has extensive background in product management, business process optimization and developing and implementing strategies to drive growth for B2C and B2B businesses. Derek has worked closely with organizations at all growth stages to develop business and financial plans. Some of his recent projects include completing a successful marketing strategy and rebranding process for Healthcare company and assisting in its Series B capital raise. Derek also recently completed and implemented a successful product, revenue and growth plan to bring established 10 million member social travel network to profitability. The plan resulted in 40% growth in revenue which was sustained through the recapitalization and sale of the company.
