Dr. Paul Maloney

Paul has a unique background having been on both sides of the desk as a senior manager and consultant as well as an academician. With over 30 years of experience as a consultant, Paul currently serves as a Professor of the Practice of Applied Psychology at Fairfield University preparing masters students in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program. He established and ran his own consulting firm, Paul Maloney & Associates, for 20 years working with clients around the globe. Previously he held senior HR positions with NBC, Mobil, and PepsiCo International. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Organization Development Network.

Experience: In previous roles, Paul served as a human resources director in the broadcasting industry, directed and developed human resources planning systems, delivered organization development and training, and coached senior managers on leadership and organizational performance improvement. Serving in an internal capacity in a major oil company, Paul helped managers increase efficiencies from 10-30% as recorded by an outside auditor.
